FAFJ Terms of Use
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Thank you for using findafknjob.com (the “Service”), a job-search organizer that tracks the jobs you save and apply to, can read your email and calendar to keep each application’s status current, and lets you share your job search with people you invite. The Service includes the website and the findafknjob.com browser extension, and is operated by TechXperts, LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”).
Please review these terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revised Terms take effect on the date shown above, except that for a paid subscription a material change takes effect at your next renewal, and we will ask you to accept them when you next use the Service. If you do not agree to a revision, stop using the Service and delete your account.
1. No promise of a job
The Service is an organizing tool. We do not guarantee, and nothing in the Service should be read as a promise of, any interview, offer, employment, salary or other outcome.
- We are not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency or employment agency, and we do not act on behalf of any employer.
- Hiring decisions are made by employers alone. We are not responsible for any employer’s decision, conduct, requirements or communications, or for whether you are contacted, interviewed, hired or rejected.
- We are not liable for any loss you believe results from not getting a job, from a missed or late application, from an application that was incomplete, inaccurate or not received, or otherwise from your use of the Service, including lost wages, lost income or lost opportunities.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any employer, job board or applicant-tracking system. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Your applications are yours to check
Resume reading, job capture and email- or calendar-based status updates are conveniences. They can be wrong or incomplete: a posting can be captured inaccurately, a question can be misread, and an email can be matched to the wrong application or given the wrong status.
- You are responsible for reviewing everything before you submit it, and for everything you submit to an employer.
- You are responsible for the truth and accuracy of your profile and of the answers you give employers.
- You decide when to submit an application and when to accept any employer’s terms. The Service never submits an application for you, never fills in an employer’s form, and never creates an account on an employer’s site for you.
3. Accounts
The Service is currently offered to job seekers in the United States. New accounts can only be opened from the United States and its territories. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your sign-in methods secure, and that you are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at help@findafknjob.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. Each mailbox has one account: where an email provider delivers variations of an address to the same mailbox (for example, extra dots in a Gmail address), those variations open the same account.
4. Sharing your job search
If you have Pro, you can invite up to three people to your job search, by email or with an invite code. Once someone accepts your invitation, they can see your applications, their timelines, the contacts saved with them, your resumes and Resume Profile, and your Review inbox (the emails and meetings there only if you turn that on for them). If you give them edit access, they can also add jobs, apply on your behalf (including through the browser extension), update, merge and delete your applications and update your resumes and Resume Profile, and work your Review inbox. Cover letters are off by default for each person: you can let them read and download your cover letters or, with edit access, also write, edit and delete them. Letters people write for you use your AI credits and resumes. Everyone you invite also sees the account’s activity (who changed what, and when), and you see theirs. Every application someone deletes or merges into another is noted in your activity, and you, or anyone you gave edit access, can restore it from there for 5 days. People you invite never see your billing or your settings, and they cannot invite anyone else. They see your emails and meetings only if you turn that on for them.
- You are responsible for whom you invite and for what they do in your account with the access you give them. Invite only people you trust.
- You can change someone’s access or remove them at any time from Settings. Sharing pauses if you leave Pro.
- If someone invites you, you use their account only as they allow and only to help with their job search, and these Terms apply to what you do there. They, or you, can end your access at any time.
5. Email, calendar and the browser extension
If you connect a Google or Microsoft mail or calendar account, you authorize the Service to read (never send, change or delete) messages and events in that account, from the periods described in the Privacy Policy, to find ones about your applications. The browser extension reads job postings and application forms on the sites where it runs, saves a job when you click Apply or open an application form, and records the answers you submit, except sensitive ones: government ID numbers, date of birth, voluntary self-identification (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or veteran status), past pay, and bank and card details. In Gmail or Outlook on the web it reads an email only when you click it to track that email, and keeps only the attachments you choose. It never fills in an employer’s form. You can disconnect an account or remove the extension at any time.
If you turn on forwarding, forward email to your FAFJ address only from mailboxes you’re allowed to use; you’re responsible for the forwarding rules you set up. The Service reads forwarded email to find messages about your applications and never replies to it. We may discard mail over the Service’s limits, and pause an address that receives too much mail.
6. Candidate portal logins
The Service does not save the email or password you use on an employer’s site (for example, Workday), and does not create accounts there. You remain responsible for those accounts. We are not responsible for any employer site, or for losing access to an account there.
7. Third-party sites and services
The Service works with sites and services we do not control, including job boards, employers’ application systems, Google, Microsoft, Stripe (payments and, as seller of record, subscription sales and tax), Brevo (email delivery), Cloudflare (hosting, Turnstile, the spam check on the Contact page, and Browser Rendering, which opens job postings we can’t read otherwise), OpenStreetMap (distance lookups), Anthropic (AI analysis for Match, resume suggestions, filling your profile from your resume, and reading job descriptions and company websites). Your use of them is governed by their own terms, which you are responsible for following, including any rules a site has about automated tools. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party sites or services, and you waive any claims against us arising from them.
8. Rules of use
You agree that you will not, directly or indirectly:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works of the Service or the extension;
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach its security or authentication measures without authorization;
- Attack the Service, including with a denial-of-service attack, or otherwise make it unusable;
- Use the Service to submit applications on behalf of anyone other than yourself (except for a member who gave you edit access to their job search and asked you to), to submit false information, or to flood employers with applications;
- Use the Service in breach of any law or third party’s rights, or to develop a competing product;
- Scrape or extract data from the Service by automated means; or
- Share your sign-in, or sell, transfer or assign your account or subscription. Inviting people through the sharing feature in section 4 is allowed.
9. Plans and fees
The Service offers a free plan and paid plans, with the features and limits shown on the Pricing page. We may change what each plan includes; if a change removes a feature you pay for, it takes effect at your next renewal. While Pro is in beta it may not be on sale, and we may give Pro to some accounts free of charge, for a set time or until we end it. When complimentary Pro ends, the account moves to Free (connected mailboxes and calendars pause, as the Privacy Policy describes) unless you subscribe.
Pro is sold through Stripe. When Stripe’s Managed Payments is used, Stripe acts as the seller (merchant of record) of your subscription, and its terms for buyers, shown at checkout, also apply. Prices are in United States dollars and charged in advance, and Stripe calculates and collects any sales tax. You authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for each billing period, and you agree to keep it up to date. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from Settings (Manage billing); Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. Promotion codes, when offered, apply only as stated with the code.
Free trial and automatic renewal
When Pro is on sale, it is billed monthly or every six months, at the price shown when you subscribe, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Your first Pro subscription starts with a free trial of five days. We take your payment details when the trial starts and charge them when it ends, for the plan you chose, unless you cancel before then; if you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. The trial is available once per person. You can cancel from Settings (Manage billing) at any time. We remind you by email before a trial ends and, for the six-month plan, about a week before each renewal, and we email you when you cancel and when Pro ends. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
AI credits and extra packs
Pro includes a monthly number of AI credits; each Match analysis (including ones Auto-analyze runs), Suggest resume edits, Tailor my resume or Write cover letter run uses one (a run that fails or is cancelled gives it back), shown in the app. Unused ones do not carry over to the next month, and fewer are included during the free trial. When Pro is on sale, you can buy extra AI credits in packs, as a one-time payment. Extra AI credits never expire and are used only after the month’s included ones. They need an active Pro plan to use: if your Pro ends, they stay on your account and work again if you renew Pro. Except where the law requires otherwise, packs are non-refundable, including when Pro ends or you delete your account, and they have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Referral credits
If you pay for Pro and someone opens an account using your share link and then pays for Pro themselves, we add a credit worth one month of your plan to your account, applied to your next invoice. The credit is earned by their first payment: a free trial that ends without a payment earns nothing. Credits are limited to twelve a year, apply only to accounts opened by different real people, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and end if you cancel. We may change or end the referral program at any time, and we may withhold or reverse credits we believe were earned through fake, duplicate or self-referred accounts.
10. Your content
You keep ownership of what you put into the Service: your profile, resume, applications, notes and contacts. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide the Service to you, including showing it to the people you invite to your job search. We may use data about how the Service is used, in aggregated form that does not identify you or anyone else, to operate and improve it. You can export your applications, their timelines, contacts, cover letters and tailored resume versions from Settings, and download your resumes and files from their pages. A cover letter states only what is in your resume or the note you add, but check it before you send it. A tailored resume states only what is in your resume, but check it before you send it.
Pro’s AI features (Match analysis, Suggest resume edits, Tailor my resume, Write cover letter and filling your profile from your resume) run only when you tap them, or, for filling your profile, when you upload or replace a resume on Pro, or, if you turn on Auto-analyze, on new jobs you save, up to the monthly limit you set. We do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not allow our AI provider to. AI results are suggestions: they can be wrong or incomplete, and you decide what to use. You are responsible for anything you put on a resume or application.
11. Our rights and feedback
We own the Service, including the site, the extension and all related intellectual property; apart from the limited right to use it under these Terms, no rights are granted to you. If you send us suggestions or other feedback, we may use it freely without any obligation to you.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that it will work on any particular employer’s site, or that any information in or produced by it, including captured postings, application statuses and salary information, is accurate, complete or current.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no legal theory, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, will we be liable to you for (a) any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including lost wages, lost income, lost employment or other opportunities, lost data, or loss of use, even if we were told they were possible, or (b) any amount in total greater than the larger of the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim and fifty US dollars ($50).
Some of the disclaimers, waivers and limits in sections 7, 12 and 13 may not apply to you where the law does not allow them, for example if you are a New Jersey resident. They then apply only as far as that law allows.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TechXperts, LLC and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, anything you submit to an employer or another site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of anyone else’s rights.
15. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and its data from Settings. Deleting your account cancels any Pro subscription; fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires. We may suspend or end your access, or close an account and delete its data, if you materially breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other people; where we can, we will tell you first. We may change or discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including 1, 2, 6, 7, 9 (for fees owed) and 10 through 16, survive it.
16. General
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to a successor to our business. A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. They are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier ones. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, other than payment obligations.
