A job application tracker that fills itself in
FAFJ is a free job application tracker with no limit on applications. Click Apply on a job and it's already on your list, with the full posting, the pay and where you found it.
Free and unlimited. No card, no time limit.
Click Apply. It's tracked.
Most trackers are a spreadsheet with nicer fonts: you still copy every job in by hand. FAFJ's browser extension, for Chrome, Firefox and Edge, does it for you. Open a job on LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, Greenhouse, Lever or a company's careers site and click the posting's Apply button. The job lands in FAFJ right then, with the company, role, location, pay and full description, even when the application form shows none of it. Submit the form and it moves to Applied, with the answers you gave.
Not ready to apply? Click Save in the extension instead. The posting is kept even after the listing comes down, so when a recruiter calls three weeks later you know exactly which job it was. Using the browser extension

Every application in one list
Applications shows everything you saved or applied to: location, pay, the date you applied, where you found it, its status and when it last changed. Sort by any column, search by company, role or recruiter, and change a status right from the list. The statuses run Saved, Applied, Screening, Interview, Offer and Accepted, with Rejected, Withdrawn and Ghosted kept at the bottom. Saved the same job twice, from LinkedIn and from the company's site? Merge them into one. Your applications and dashboard

A dashboard and a calendar
The dashboard counts what's active and what reached an interview or an offer, lists what's coming up, and shows what just happened. The calendar puts every interview and next step from all your applications in one view, by month, week or day. Applications with no word for 2 months show under Probably ghosted, so you can stop refreshing your inbox for them.
Each application has its own page too: the posting, the people you deal with, your notes, files and a timeline of everything that happened. The application page

Know your fit before you apply (Pro)
On Pro, AI Match compares your resume with a job's description: an overall fit, then each requirement marked Met, Met another way or Missing, and a short list of resume edits for that job. It only works with what your resume already says. AI features
Pro also keeps each status current from Gmail or Outlook, so you stop updating it yourself. Track job applications from Gmail and Outlook

On your phone, too
Found a job on your phone? Paste or share its link and FAFJ fills in the company, role, location, pay and description for you to check. Open it later on a computer and the extension fills in anything the phone could not get. Using FAFJ on your phone
Questions
Is the job application tracker really free?
Yes. Free tracks unlimited applications, with no card and no time limit. Pro adds Gmail and Outlook sync, AI Match, AI cover letters and sharing your search with up to 3 people.
Do I need the browser extension?
No, but it does most of the work. Without it you can add a job by pasting its link, on a computer or a phone. With it, jobs are saved as you browse and tracked the moment you click Apply.
Does FAFJ apply to jobs for me?
No. FAFJ never fills in or submits an application. You always click Submit; FAFJ keeps track of what you sent.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, on every plan. Free exports everything as JSON; Pro adds Excel, CSV and a Google Sheet that stays up to date.
